The Sandwich System in leaves is an HR policy where weekly offs (like Saturday and Sunday) are counted as leave if they fall between two applied leave days.

📌 Example:

If you apply for leave on Friday and Monday, your company may also count Saturday and Sunday as leave — making it a total of 4 days deducted from your leave balance.

This system is commonly used in Indian workplaces, but it is not legally required and varies based on company policy.
